They all got my Love
Like a room full of beautiful women, please don't make me decide on just one!
Fokker DVI because of looks, Albatros DII because I like ear radiators, Hanriot DII 'cause, Fokker DRI because it would look great in the driveway, Fokker EIII... when I'm feeling warped, Albatros D Va because it is freaking cool looking
Like I said there can't be just one!!! They all got my love!

I would have to say that the later year Fokkers and Sopwiths win my votes, specially the Dr.1, Sopwith Tripe and Camel. But above all my absolute faves have to be the Felixstowe F.2a and the Vickers Vimy, two beautiful giants.

I love the Albatros CV/17 - extremely clean, beautiful curves thanks to the engine piping being virtually all enclosed and a two seater as well!
Have fun

But there are so many... I have trouble choosing.
Albatros DIII, Fokker EIII, Halberstadt DII, Airco DH2, Morane "Bullet" and Ansaldo SVA 5 (I hope I got that name right- the Ansaldo designations confuse me a bit!) for fighters/ground attack.
Albatros CI and Roland CII for 2-seaters.
Hansa-Brandenburg CC for seaplanes.
(You might notice that I seem to prefer the early-war stuff for some reason... and no, I don't know why!)

Albatros CV for two-seaters, DIII for fighters, I guess I like the lines of those best, especially the tail sections.

The Beateeful S.P.A.D. It was big and bad.
It would have been badder if the A.E.F. had mounted 3 MG's in each wing. Now that's fun!! In fact, I should build a model of that. Take a digital blk und white photo....and publi. it.....how long before it would appear as a "prototype" in someones book?
