Hi JohnFitz,
For plans of the Halberstadt Cl.IV in 1/4 scale you may have a hard time finding them. You most likely will have to secure some and have them enlarged to 1/4 scale. Here are two sources that I know of that may help you in your search.
the Windsock Datafiles usually have very good plans in them that is suitable for model building and they cover in detail about the aircraft.
Wise Owl Worldwide Publications
1926 S. Pacific Coast highway
Suite 204
Redondo Beach, California 90277-6145
Phone: (310) 944-5033
Cost is $16.50 for No. 43 Halberstadt Cl.IV

If you want more detailed drawings write or call Leo E. Opdycke of World War I AERO
15 Crescent Road
Poughkeepsie, NY 12601
(845) 473-3679
Leo offers Halberstadt Cl.IV with 8 drawings of 11x14", dimensioned. Main structures with some structural detail; including airfoil sections. Price is $6.00 from WW1 AERO
It would be best to call Leo to make sure of the price and to get the shipping amount.
I've made several purchases from Leo and have not been let down yet.
You might want to ask Leo about the 200 working drawings made for the restoration of the three aircraft at the Museum fur Verkehr und Technik in Berlin. sizes from 1:1 to 1:10. DM 960 postpaid, from Silberstreif GmbH, Postfach 31 13 09, 1000 Berlin 31, Germany.
I hope this helps you in your search.

David, Thanks for your reply. I have the Windsock Data file #43 and have also purchased the CD of the museum restoration projects by Achim Engels. I guess I'll have to use what I have and get a 1/4 scale plan made. Oh well, doing something new always requires more effort. Thanks again for your reply. Cheers!
