Classic fighters 2005, Blenheim, NZ
Here are some photos from the practice day, not much to show at the moment due to the poor weather, I will post more over the next two days, hopefully under better conditions.

Could I put in a special request that you shoot a bunch of up-close detail shots (the sort a replica builder would love) of things like wheel hubs, engine housings, lingages, etc.?

Great photos, Eric. Looks like a really great show. The new museum looks like it has enough room for lots of exhibits. Certainly makes a trip to NZ sound even better than just going to go fly fishing.

Thanks, Eric - great shots. I'd give my good leg to see five Tripes in formation . . . . . .
One note - the B.E.2 was a Royal Aircraft Factory product, not DeHavilland.

Thanks for great pics! I just spent a large portion of my Saturday morning going through all of them!

Cheers guys, it's a great show, at one time 11 biplanes where in the air and the poor F2b had 5 Fokkers on his tail, I think we need more allied planes to even the odds.
I'll get some detail shots today if the weather holds out, this is the first time in 3 shows that the sky hasn't been cloudless.
