What color red?

DRDad:
I have had the good fortune to have viewed 9 pieces of fabric from Fok.DR.I 425/17. The largest a piece from the upper wing crossfield. Also I have seen several phoney pieces of fabric that were supposed to be from Fok.DR.I 425/17. All nine pieces of fabric from Fok.DR.I 425/17, were the same color, a very dark red. Fok.DR.I 425/17 was NOT painted bright red. These nine samples were all validated. They did not get dark with age, the red was darkened with carbon black. I have viewed my sample with a 100 power microscope and it looked like lumps of coal scattered on a red field. And Alan Toelle has analysed and validated my piece of fabric. If you provide me with your snail mail address, I'll send you a copy so you can see for yourself. The red paint film was .004" thick.
Blue skies,
Dan-San

Did not mean to touch a raw nerve. Will send my email via your email . If
you will send me an email address I can attach a photo to, I will do so. I am
unable to attach a photo to this forum even though the upload window says
" done". Any suggestions appreciated.
