100 HP Mercedes Engine

I am looking for information on the 100 HP Mercedes engine (model D1, I presume, although that may not be correct), and haven't been able to find much with the usual search engine/personal library route. Specifically, I'm looking at a Heine propeller that is stamped 100 PS MERCE and wondering what aircraft might have used this prop.

There are several other considerations, however, that lead me to believe this is a post WW1 propeller. There is a faded Heine decal on the blade, and I've always understood that Heine didn't use decals, at least during WW1. Also, there is copper sheathing on the tip, and very few early German props seem to have had that feature. Finally, the serial number stamped on it is in the 41,000 range, which also seems higher than the Heine props I've seen that were clearly WW1 era.

So the question arises, how extensively would this engine have been used after WW1, especially considering that it wasn't a particularly great performer during that time?

For the Diamler (Mercedes) database check with the esteemed Aerodrome member, Mr. Dave Watts.
