Curtiss JN-4 (Can) Canuck

I am completing the DataFile Special on the Curtiss Jenny series and ned a source for photographs of the Canadian versions. The Canadian Aviation Museum website has great photos but you can not order them as prints or high resolution digital images.

Any help appreciated.

Gee, Col; they rushed in with info, eh? Best I can find is ailerons all wings, larger rudder, different wing section. You know that though.
As for photos, if the Official sources fail, try the locals. Find where the Canadian barnstormers flew, check the historical societies.
Then use Search Feature for Curtiss Canuck. Ask the webmaster. If he has several photos.... might have more.
I found
www.wopmay.com
ww.peckaeroplanerestoration.com/robin.htm for a Robin of 1928, flying with a Canuck restoration. Pretty picture. Good bloke to ask? If the URL fails, go "1928 Curtiss Robin"

I can't help you with any period photos, Colin, but don't forget that Roger Freeman has a restored and flying Canuck at Kingsbury.

Colin,
Contact the National Aviation Museum in Ottawa, Canada.
Ask for the library. Ask for Ian Leslie, the librarian.
They have a series of drawings for the Canuck, many of which have been scanned.
An interesting drawing shows MG mounting details.
They weill provide these to those they deem worthy.
I am sure they can provide photos.
The other resource would be any history on Canadian Aeroplanes Limited that produced Canucks in Toronto during the war. Try the Toronto Aerospace Museum who have much memorabilia from Canadian Aeroplanes Ltd..
Good Luck
