JG1Schorner I have to pick a small nit about the BE2c in that it was not obsolete when introduced. The BE2 (not necessarily c) was a superb aircraft when it was introduced ... in 1913 .
I must admit, whereas I've always thought the Be-2 was a decent aircraft for its type, I've always harboured a soft spot for the single-seat version... the Be-12! That's one Tommy aeroplane that I wouldn't mind flying.

"Prost!"

Oh no, I wanted it as much as I paid for it. I just thought it ironic that I worked hard to get a good deal on it, and then missed a fantastic deal on it. I'm happy with the book. And I'll make sure it doesn't get thrown in a housecleaning or disappear on me again! *grin*
