Name This Gnome!

Engine experts! Can you tell me anything about this 'long-nose' Gnome engine? Type? Power? Aircraft type installation?

I want to compare notes.

Thanks, Gary

I'm no expert, but to get the ball rolling, I'll state that there was a lot of variation in the Gnome crankcase mounted propeller shafts used and so that component is likely aircraft specific. See link EngineHistory.Org for a little more info on this type of engine.
Gary, do you have any bore/stroke numbers for the pictured engine?

Smile gnome

Hello
This engine looks to be for a Sopwith Tabloid or some other racing aircraft of the period. The extended propeller shaft was necessary for the streamlined nose.

Be well
