Question Friedrichshafen FF33 Seaplane

Gentlemen,

Were there any versions of the Friedrichshafen FF33 seaplane that had forward firing machine guns for the navel pilots? How can the crew expect to fight against big enemy flyingboats if only the observer had only one rear firing machine gun? The Friedrichshafen FF33 was no seaplane fighter to begin with.

Sincerely,

Edward

... Haven't found any mention of "forward firing" weapons as yet! But, as I'm now very curious, I'll keep digging. "Guter Jagen!"

"Prost!"

At least the Friedrichshafen FF 33l had an additional forward firing gun. Altogether 141 machines of this "sub-type" of the large FF 33 family were built.
