Nieuport 21 upper wing

Hello

I have a question about the Nieuport 21, I was looking some pictures and I noticed that the upper wing had a different shape compared with the wing of the Nieuport 17, I´m wrong ?

Best Regards,

Different how? As far as I can find, they used the same wing, span and area were the same.

Nieuport 21 upper wing

Kalt,

Externally only the engine change distinguished the Nie. 21 and most had the cutaway cowling. The type could be differentiated from Nie. 11, which it resembled, by its parallel flying wires and longer wings.
