Burning Spad

Here is a picture that you don't see every day. The plane crashed from about 200 feet. It's written on the back of the photograph that is was taken about 30 seconds after impact.

It was written in english. I must confess to making a mistake on the 200 feet part. I transposed that from another photograph of a different crash. Here what I can read of the text on the back:

This Spad from our Squadron fell _____ ft in _____ this was about 30 seconds after it hit.

I may someday be able to recover the missing text as it is stuck to the glue in the scrapbook. If I can, I will let you know as one of the missing words is capitalized and seems to be the name of the place where the crash occured.
