Question Lewis gun dimensions

Can anyone supply me with Lewis gun dimensions?

Total length, diameter of drum, etc.

While an excellent diagram, it is unfortunately of the Vickers, not the Lewis.

I don't have the schematic for the Lewis, but thought that the following would be of interest if you aren't already aware of it:

I'm sure Allen just absent-mindedly scanned the wrong page. The Wylam drawings of the Lewis are just on the next page of the MAN Scale Aircraft Drawings book. I'd have to walk the book into the office to scan but the overall lenght is 40 1/2" from the tip of the flash surpressor to the back of the handle.

duh

Sorry, wrong gun. Nice drawing though...
I am starting a Camel and have Vickers on my brain. Will scan the Lewis tomorrow or Tuesday and post it.

While not giving overall dimensions this gives a good overall of the gun and its operation - hopefully.
That didn't work.
If anyone wants a A1 sheet of the gun and its internals email me and I'll forward it on. I'll try reposting it at lunch.

sorry

My scanner is no longer talking to this computer and the bad adapter cable is not commonly available. Therefore, I am unable to scan the Lewis drawing. Sorry.
