Gavin float plane fighter And float plane fighters of the war

Hello there guys need info on the gavin float plane fighter and other seaplane and float plane fighters of the war. from beginning to end

I assume you mean Galvin as in your other post. There are a couple of photos at http://www.earlyaviator.com/archive/walsh/. A weird French machine with the engine and propellor amidships in a divided fuselage. Specs according to Davila and Soltan: l, 7.2 m; h, 2.3 m; span 8 m, speed 200 km/hr. It may have flown in 1919.

I don't know of a source that specializes in WWI floatplane fighters.

There is one little beauty that even had retractable floats! The Ursinus.

Here are a couple of pictures. Floats up and floats down. Clever idea but how practical it would have been is anyone's guess!
