Aviatik Berg DI at the Vienna Technical Museum - walkaround

Hello all,
i took the oportunity to photograph this aircraft while i was visiting the superb city of Vienna last week.
Please excuse the quality of the pictures, the reasons for the low quality are the low light conditions, high ISO settings, and because i wasn`t allowed to use the flash or a tripod.

you can view the pictures here:
Aviatik Berg DI at the Vienna Technical Museum

i hope the pictures will help some of you in your research.
enjoy.
andi

PS: if you have detailed pictures (or even detailed drawings/illustrations) of the Austro-Daimler engines that fitted the Aviatik Bergs, please contact me. thanks.

Thumbs up Beautiful!

andi,

Those are great pictures. You did a very good job even with the lighting conditions/restrictions.

Theses pictures will help much in my attempts to put some 'life' in my Flashback kit. Many thanks for posting them.

Cheers,

D

Photoshop can make up for the poor lighting conditions and tonal corrections.

Hello,
the engine walkarounds will be online soon, probably next week. i will post the links on this forum.
i used Photoshop to make some adjustments, but not much can be done.

now i`m in the office and the pictures look quite dark and some detail is not visible. at home contrast and brightness were very good.

Hello Andi;
The photos are quite good and very helpful to us. So please do not worry about them not being perfect. There is a lot of information to be found in them, thanks to your efforts. For example-I have been looking for a photo of my old seat belt spring mounts, that shows them in an aircraft, for over 20 years. And now,. you have shown me one. It was very exciting to me. I also have many of the instrument panel etched metal placards that are clearly shown in your photos. You might enjoy seeing many of these Austrian instruments and cockpit items on my website. Just click the link below at the bottom of this message. Here is MY photo that is also much too dark..I look forward to seeing more of your photos.
