Crash I MFJ - 30 November 1917

Hi,

On the 30th November a loss for the unit : Lt.d.R. Happ was doing a test flight when all of a sudden one of the wings is breaking of and the plane crashes from a height of 7 to 800 meters, destroying the plane and killing it’s pilot. His body was taken to the Marine Feldlazarett 1 at Brugge.
Any ideas on what machine he was testing ?

Best from Johan

Johan,

First of all I have his name as Ltn.d.R. Otto Napp, and I have him KIC in Albatros D.V 4680/17. Hope this helps. R.
