Question SSW D.III combat evaluation.

I've read that between March and May 1918, 41 SSW D.III s were sent to JG2and JG3 for combat evaluation.
Which Jastas received these planes? Specifically did Jastas 26 & 27 receive any?

Thanks.

I'm not aware of any going to JG.III, but at JG.II there are photos to substantiate at Jastas 12, 15, and 19.

Pfalz-Scout- Have Michael's excellent book, and he missed D.IV 7553/17 as well. Prototypes must have used different rules.

S.S.W. D.III 8356/17 flown by Gefr. Lange of Kest 5. This machine was flown by Lange into Switzerland at the war’s end. Several machines from Kest 5 landed there rather than turn over their machines to the allies. "Kest 45" is a typographical error.
