German Marine fighter plane 1916

Hello

Does anyone knows what type of fighter plane (Fokker?) was in use with II.Marine-Feldfliegerabteilung in April-June 1916.

Thanks and regards,

Cnock

Hi Cnock

I am no aircraft man, but I have some notes one-seaters used by MFFA II...

Around 1 Apr 16 they had circa 4 one-seaters which increased to 7 in late May 1916...all were Fokker Einsitzer except one which was a Nieuport Scout...

Known numbers are: 70,72,74,190,221,221 and 225. 226 was a few days within the unit in late May but was then transferred to MFFA I...

Hi again

I saw that I wrote a/c 221 twice.... ....it should be a/c 222 the second "time"....

These a/c had "BIG" numbers on the fusekage

for example:

70 = 1
72 = 5
74 = 2
190 = 3
221 = 4
222 = 6
225 = 7
