ID of Fokker Triplane Lineup

Hi all,

I spotted this photo of a Dr.I lineup on ebay and wondered if anyone could place it?

Hi Dave,

It's Jasta 11, on the advance landing ground at Awoingt, just southeast of Cambrai. This significant photo shows the Tripes of Jasta 11 (with Jasta 4 Albatros and Pfalz in the distance) soon after they had been flown to Awoingt from Avesnes-le-Sec on 20 March, in preparation for the great German offensive which would begin on the 21st (Kaiserschlacht, 'Operation Michael', etc).

You can check this photo out on page 58 of Alex Imrie's superb "The Fokker Triplane".
