Nieuport 11 prototype

I noticed for the first time a photo of the Nieuport 11 prototype in the Nieuport Datafile Special Vol. I. It looks to me that the fuselage is a bit longer than production standard and that the lower longeron is straight without the gentle curve near the lower wing root. I did some measuring and comparing to other photos but didn't really feel I proved or disproved the point. Does anybody have other pictures or dimensions of the N.11 prototype? I have looked through everything I have on Nieuports and come up empty. Thanks.

There is a photograph of an unarmed, unnumbered Nieuport 11 prototype on page 38 of the book Nieuport Aircraft of World War One by Ray Sanger. The photo is dated as summer, 1915. No dimensional data for the prototype is given.

I personally don't have that book, but a friend does I believe. I'll take a look see if he does. Thanks.

The photo posted by Jos is the same one appearing in Sanger's book.

Hello Jos. Yes, thank you, it does help. As suggested by TomVrille I did get a look at the Sanger book owned by a friend but having the photo on the thread allows me to study it at my leisure. Any ideas on what that is on top of the fuselage between the cabane struts? It's not in the other photo. Judging by the position of the valve stem access in the right wheel the aircraft has been moved between photos. Many useful details are visible in this photo too. Gotta get the Sanger book next month. I've already blown this month's budget on the Roden 1/32 Alb. D.III and Alex Revell's "British Single-Seat Fighter Squadrons" book. My thanks again to you both.
