I must amend my answer.
The aerofiles data claims the first M-2 (Bu No A442)
initially had an ABC Gnat. This suggests the ABC motor was replaced with a Lawrance.
Therefore the a/c in the photo could be either of the three - but not the
original version of A442.
Sorry for missing that important detail and hopefully there isn't a demerit coming my way.
