Info on Fokker D VII needed
Hi,
Im looking to find out the range of the Fokker D VII but all i can find is the time of endurance. Does anyone know what is the range in miles or km? Other information im looking for are the weights and service ceiling. thanks |

Greetings Belle;
You probably have seen this; http://www.theaerodrome.com/aircraft...okker_dvii.php extrapilating 177 mile max range at 1.5 hours for a Mercedes over compressed motor. If the Merc allowed the mean average of 118 miles per hour it would yield 177 at 1.5 hours. Thats round trip. 88.5 miles half way. This does not account for max ceiling output and could only be seen as a best case senario at a full 1400 rpm output at lower altitudes. Member Dave Watts could tell you more or be more precise. |
