D VII wing

Following is a picture of a D VII lower wing.



Note the interesting alignment of the trailing edges of the ribs.
While this is subjective visual impression only, the top of the spar appeared to be flat.
I've never had the opportunity to view an uncovered D VII wing in this way and was surprised at the trailing edge alignment. I thought that they would be in the same plane.
