Of this one it is even known how it crashed. For a bonus point - anyone know the story (as well as the plane)?

No Farman? Then Breguet, e.g. Breguet 12, or this is a front gunner position of some larger aircraft?

No Breguet. Larger is the way to go! That nose is rather recognisable to me - but then I guess I know what it is!

The wreck looks like a Royal Aircraft Factory F.E.2d. To be seen in the nose is the position of the observer. Behind is the pilot. Remarkable that the crew walked away possibly. I do not know anything about the whereabouts of the crash.

According to crew arrangements possible French candidates are Farman F.50, Caudron C.23 and Letord 9. Farman was dismissed, Letord was a prototype, Caudron C.23 nose looks a bit different.
We should consider Handley-Page bombers.

Yavor
