Just down from the upper left rear corner of the gun. There was round ones and square ones, take your pick.

Click on Greybeard's link and you'll see pictures. One peek is worth 10000 words.

Hi TC,
You need to click on Gray Beard's "Round counters", it's underscored.
Good Luck and Enjoy! FOKKERJ

Thanks to Greybeard, Tripehound, Machinbird and Fokkerj for a very enjoyable syllabus on the Spandau round counter. Putting all of the professors I have had going to college would have to bow down to the presentation that I just witnessed. It was fluid, concise, direct, eye pleasing and the picture presentation was outstanding along with the commentary. I could almost feel the gun oil on my fingers.
It was an honor to spend some time going through it.
To say the least - it was the best 15 minutes of my day today as my eyes, brain and imagination wrapped around the subject.
I tip my hat to you all - keep up the great work.
thanks for the tour.

One Last Question?
Yes, I second the presentation and wealth of knowledge!
I can see that the square (odometer type) gives single count, however the round counter appears to be graduated in perhaps either tenths or hunderdths of rounds. Is this correct???
Again thanks for such complete info!

The small tic marks represent 10s of rounds, and the large numbers represent 100s of rounds:
