OT -- P-12, P-26 engine cover?
I think the P-12 used a P&W 1340-17 and the P-26 used a P&W 1340-27, nearly identical Wasps. Both aircraft had an elegant engine cover that bolted onto the front of the engine. Question — was this engine cover identical to both aircraft?
