photo reference site

Found a site this morning with walkarounds of a few WW I aircraft. It's at:

Idflieg - A Place for Surviving Machines

Very nice quality photos.

Here's another: www.werkost.com

I'm doing searches while waiting for my Dynaflite S.E.5a kit to arrive.

Mike,

Good stuff, thanks for posting the site. I especially liked the bare wing shots of the Aviatik Berg D.I . No matter how many photos I see, I always learn something when I see ones that are new to me.

Phil

The Idflieg site is great... I'm glad to see we have access to good quality photos of the Aviatik in Vienna and the Hansa Brandenburg in Budapest (better than the ones i took by cell phone at any rate when i visited both locations last month).

With reference to the existing thread "Aviatik colors", Cliff and JohnFitz should now be able to get a better idea of the colors and lighting at the Military History Museum in Vienna, where the Aviatik is exhibited.
