Bob- Thanks. I ordered it from your site and will PayPal the money when I receive the invoice. I also collect clocks and have around 10 English Lantern Clocks from as early as 1620 and four fusee drop dial wall clocks.
Nice selection of propellers, too. Have to pay for my Axial first.

The Luftschraube of Hermann Borck will set you back second hand about € 65. This is the original 1918 version. There is also an augmented version (144 pages) published in 1939, but that may concentrate on newer propellers and leave out the WW1 propellers.

Dank u Krees,
The answer to your question on another thread was that I was not going to Lelystadt aerodrome this time but to Flevoland and Almere to do some bird watching.
Could you send me a copy of your Wotan decal photograph that I saw elsewhere on this forum, that I could use in my volume on German props. I have several photographs but none are quite as good as yours. I don't have a Lorenzen or Bechstein either, but have most others.
Met beste wensen,
Bob

The Wotan propeller logo. This propeller can be seen in the Brussels Museum mounted on an original Mercedes Benz engine. This is an enlargement of the logo.
Another one by Levasseur
And the masterpiece propeller of Chauvière
This is a (reduced) scan of the original postcard, can send a high res scan (17 Mb) seperately if you send email address via PM.
Vriendelijke groet
Kees

Dank u Kees,
I took a photo of that prop as well but it was in low light conditions and my camera wasn't up to it. Your photo is much better.
Your photo of the Levasseur decal has come full circle because it is one that we restored!
The quickest way to my e-mail address is on my website at Aero Clocks where there are links on most pages.
Vriendelijke groet,
Bob

It is a Hein propeller
Hello,
As some of you spoke about decal which had not check... I have 4 markings (each side) with "Hein Propeller"
Other markings on the front, around the central axe "SIAMD" or "SIAND" with a number below 1220 and on the other side something unreadable anymore, a kind of Gebr... with figures below "117".
I tried to post some pix but to heavy (even 175K)... Should some of you have an interest in receiving them, please feel free to let me know. I'll then send the via email.
Thanks again!
Cheers,
Vincent.
