If you take the whole 1914-1918 period into consideration you have got an impressive string of LVG types. LVG made mostly two-seater army cooperation aircraft. Some Units that did operate the C.V were: FA17, FA19, FA25, FA46b, FA(A)212, FA(A)238, FA(A)259, FA(A)263, FA(A)287b, FA(A)292b, FA(A)298b, 304b (Palestine). The Germans tended to operate mixed units so quite many German two seater units probably operated this aircraft at one time or another. It was also operated by some Schusta, Dan San Abbot knows all about that.

You can probably add some Kasta/Bosta units to my list. According to Alex Imrie German bomber units operated two seaters for short range day and night bombing missions. Alas the only photos I have are of an AEG N.I and a DFW C.V and neither comes with any hint of what units they were organic to. I'd very much like to know more about WWI bomber operations but information is unfortunately scarce.

The LVG C.V was used alongside the DFW C.V and other two-seater aircraft like the Rumpler C.IV and variants, as well as the. German Flieger-Abteilungen, and Feldflieger-Abteilungen, as well as the Schusta, Schlasta, Kasta, etc. used a mix of these aircraft. Photos show always a mixture of aircraft and not solely one type. This had to do with the different assignments that the aircraft were used for.
