Breguet's Challenge #337

I see that I have pushed anxiety to the limit, even sofar that one contestant has given a solution for a Challenge that has still to be published . As is clear now, the early answer was false, but because the Breguet rules don't have any ruling for this it has no consequence for the contestant . But if the Breguet rules are changed by the Ruler-of-it-all this may have the consequence of scoring a minus one (-/- 1)

Here is the real thing. I think you will all be able to count for yourself. Please give all you have of this machine.

Kees

Salutations Breguet,

Yes you did miss something!ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!

That trouble maker, from the "GREAT WHITE NORTH" (I don't wanna mention any names!) said:

Quote:"So, 337 has lots of bays…, my guess is the Caproni CA 60. A bit late for the Challenge, but definitely lots of bays.

Does the 12 hour rule apply before the Challenge is posted?

Dave"
End Quote.

To which that guy from France, again I don't wanna drop any names, replied:

Conclusion you lost the challenge even before Kees post it

Hi:

My first guess was a bit off. As a second guess let me try the Gotha Vuchber floatplane. Regrettably, I have yet to find more information on the machine.

Dave got a problem with spelling. It should read Gotha Buchner floatplane pusher. Unfortunately, it is all I know about this machine.
Regards,
Yavor

P.S. There was Gotha Buchner tractor landplane operated by Kriegsmarine.

There was a Henri Farman with a 140hp Hispano engine mounted on floats for the RNAS in 1916 that had a similar layout.

And then there's the Short S.81 Gun carrier but that had tip floats as well.

Kees, these things are like German two-seaters !
