E types in the East victories

When I said Eastern Front I ment Russian Front. However, thanks for posting the info on the other fronts Balkens, Italian ect. I am sort of surprised there was only one claim on the Russian front and that being over Northern Bulgaria. Could the plane be Rumanian? As for the two Pfalz E claims over the Balkens front It would be nice if they could be matched up to known allied losses. The type really didn't shoot down many planes ect. I believe this incident is mentioned in the Osprey book of Pfalz aces by Greg. Thanks for your help everyone. Final note: the air war over the Balkens looks like an area that needs more historical research to be done.

Hello James Pratt, A few German Pfalz and Fokker single-seater claims on the Russian Front have come to light, but units are not always identified. A major problem. It would be wonderful if some of our German friends would join in this research. Their input would be most welcome.

What is the one claim you refer to over Northern Bulgaria??? Does this refer to the Dobrudja region??? Hope you have good maps.
