Rhys Davids Se5a after the Voss encounter.

I'm currently building Rhys David's Se5a as it looked after the dogfight with Voss.
I have read that Voss inflicted damage on most of the 56 Squad planes that were in the dogfight that day.
Does anyone have information on what battle damge Rhys Davids Se5 had as a result of that fight?

Mate,
Welcome to the flagship of the Aerodrome - where the greatest minds on the planet get together and talk about their favorite subject - WW1.

P.S. Werner Voss fan here.
P.S.S. When it comes to the BD of RD SE5 aircraft all I have is: Voss put some bullets through his aircraft. His aircraft was hit, but not badly damaged.
- sorry mate maybe someone else would care to take a crack at it -tc

From what I've read, there were a few cracked ribs inside and holes in the canvas, but nothing serious was done. Unfortunately, no pictures and/or drawings were provided, and the details on the hit locations were nonexistent. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm sure someone else has a good idea on the damage specifics.

Took skill and courage to do what Voss did... courage, especially.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen!
I know from some of the reading I have done that a couple of the Se's were write offs after the fight.
To date I have only read scarce details about the damage incurred by 56.
I believe, if memory serves, that Muspratt got the worse dose of damage and his SE was a write off.

Thanks for the input.
Maybe one of our learned aviation experts have something tucked away that can shed some light on Davids Se5 after the fight?

The damage to B525 can't have been that severe since Rhys Davids made further claims in that machine on 24 September (the day after the Voss shindig), 28 September, 1 October and 11 October.
