SE5a, 'S' F943, No. 92 Squadron
Hi all,
I'm new on this great forum. One question: is it possible to discover the name and rank of the pilot of the SE5a 'S' F943, No. 92 Squadron? In the book on the SE5/SE5a Squadrons, by L. A. Rogers (Windsock), on p. 45, has a photo of this SE5a. There is no mention of place or time. Thank's a lot for any help or information. Sorry my bad english. Cheers, Franklin * from Brazil |

Bonjour Ferreria!
The S.E.5 File by Sturtivant and Page has the following entry - F943 At 92 Sqdn ("S") by 3.3.19; 8 AAP Lympne 29.7.19 The aircraft was from the batch ordered under 35/530/C.410 and manufactured by Wolseley Motors Ltd in Birmingham. So, it would seem that the aircraft was not delivered to the R.A.F. until after the cessation of hostilities. Sorry, but, I do not know who actually flew the aircraft with 92 Squadron. Salut! Kirk |
