Original DVII for sale

What ever became of that original Fokker DVII (in Canada I believe) that came up for sale a while back?

Biber,
The aircraft has not been sold and it is doubtful that it was ever going to be.
A reporter took some museum board discussions that hypothesised on whether the aircraft fit the collection's mandate; what would they/could they do with the money if they sold the aircraft, and created a story about selling Canada's heritage.
Smoke, no fire.
Regards,
John
