Location of Art Depicting 50th Aer Sqdn DH-4 dropping packets to Lost Battlion, 77th

Can anyone assist me to locate the original art or good print showing the 5oth Aero Sqdn DH-4 dropping packets into the supposed location of the Lost Battalion of the 77th Div, AEF during Oct 1918.

Jerry- I think the print for which you are searching was part of the Leach "Heritage of the Air" collection seen in Aviation Week years go. There is one showing a D.H.4 delivering a packet to the "Lost Battalion". Those prints still show up on E-Bay occasionally.

Hi jerry hester,

Welcome to the Aerodrome.

The most recent that I've seen is the model box cover of the BLUE MAX 1/48" De Havilland D.H.4 American.

best of Luck, FOKKERJ

Thanks, I found under the Leach "Heritage of the Air" web site. Now, if I can locate the prints.

This is very helpful.
