BREGUET's CRASH FILE CHALLENGE Nr.263 1/2

Welcome to Breguet's Crash File Challenge #263 1/2.

After a long period of inactivity since the previous challenge and now defunct BCFC, I was going to entertain you with the "NEW" FOKKERJ's CRASH FILE CHALLENGE...."Feuchtwanger's Krash Korner", but figured if there wasn't enough interest to keep this one going....Why bother with a new one!
Also, some have worked hard on their scores!
Hopefully there is still interest to keep this going!

Of course there is!!!! That's why I have hi-jacked this challenge!

The scoreboard at the start of BCFC #263 1/2 is:

Highslide JS

THE RULES:
All "ACES" with a score of 5.0 or higher must obey the 3.0 hour handicap.
All others with a score of ZERO to 4.99 may start immediately, if not sooner!
ALL VIOLATORS WILL BE DEALT WITH SEVERELY!
And whom ever wins this challenge will have to provide a new one!
If this can not be done for any reason, please let us know and someone will take over as host!

Good Hunting, FOKKERJ

I am going to start by saying it looks like a Fokker Dr.I. I see twin Spandaus in the center sticking up in the air, what looks like a rounded cowling behind the guy on the left, Iron Cross on an upper wing, and a Fokker looking tailplane/elevator just above the guy's head on the right, although the shape of it looks a little off from a Dr.I, but maybe because it fell down from 3000 feet........

With my luck, it will turn out to be a Staaken or something.....

Bonjour à tous

Thanks Jay for hi-jacking the crash challenge !

Ich kenne nicht deutsch, aber
"Abgeschossener englisches Flieger aus 1000 m Höhe, alles kaputt !!!"
means that this "plane" should not be a german aircraft
but impossible for the moment to see anything from this wreckage

Bruno

Hello Bruno,

Good Friend, I agree with you, but the hand writing on the feldpost is misleading and is probably why I won it uncontested!
I was happy to hold it in my hands to see a clearer image and that it was not an "Abgeschossener englisches Flieger aus 1000 m Höhe, alles kaputt !!!",
but in reality a rather fine looking German ...............to be continued!

Best Wishes, Jay
