I think that it could be a LVG CII

Cordialement

I can't find a perfect match.
I like the LVG idea, but the tail doesn't look right to me!
I think it may be a Curtiss Jenny type as well, which might explain the British (They're probably Aussies!) looking fellows in the foto. The wings look like they are almost equal span.
There's not a very clear image of the tail. I do have an image of an un-equal wing spaned type with a tail that looks very similar to our foto.

HAPPY TRAILS, FOKKERJ

JN-6H might be a good match!

Nine JN-2's had equal span wings with ailerons, top and bottom.
Several other models did too!

You know your girls FokkerJ. Jenny it is. Though the are Americans not Aussies. As for the exact type of Jenny our New Jersey boy could probably give us more info. The picture comes from the book Combat report and the caption says "Training at Camp Borden - Cadet Sheldon, the pilot, survived the crash of his JN 4. The Fuselage serial is C202 and there is a big 'T' forward of it.

Score at the end of #271.

Actually you're both wrong. Being this is at Camp Borden, that would make them Canadians. So, JN-4C in my estimation.

Glad you like the list fellas. Let me know if you spot any errors.
Cheers
Rod
