Fokker F.I ailerons...
Ok, here is another F.I question...
The early F.I ailerons had a reduced trailing edge (or rather, the Dr.I ailerons had an increased trailing edge). However, I have seen several F.I models now built with an extended balance horn on the ailerons. The Albatros plans do not show this, and I am not convinced the photos do either...at least not the ones I am looking at. Angles and dangles can be tricky. Is it true or a myth? Does anyone have a drawing they can point me to? Thanks, Gregg Cooper |

The larger balances were there. If memory serves, Idflieg made it part of their redesign recommendations to reduce them after the grounding and inspections.
