I know that this is a pretty basic question but how do you pronounce Pfalz?
Thanks,
Erik

The P is not silent...
...this is phonetic. Need to enunciate the "pf" combination.
The "z" is a "ts", as Kaiser B says.

The a is pronounced as the a in "are", not as the a in "any".

Kai, I know how to pronounce Pfalz but I was stricken by Angst by your description Would it not be best to make a voice recording and drop that here ?
Cheers

Hello Kees,
" ... but I was stricken by Angst by your description ... " lol
always nice to hear from you. And sorry i had so much to do i forgot to send you the scans of the aviation book about the austrian pioneer - unless you already bought the book ... ?
Voice recording - good idea, however i can only try this in the evening at home, there is no possibility for this here at the museum - or so i think.
Greetings,
Kai
