It is a link to a public domaine, and not mine (as shown in the thread)
If you feel that photos from the linked page belonges to you, you have to discuss that with the owner of the page, not me.
Best
Olve

Fokker EV and H.P. 0/400
I’d like to draw the attention to the photo of the Fokker D VIII/EV with this "5" or "S" on the fuselage. As far as I know, this is one of the very, very few clear pictures of the apparently multicoloured upper wing.
Does someone know more about this plane ? The photo seems to be taken after Nov 1918, at some sort of collection place (Pfalz D XII in the background, and some Rolands).
Another puzzling one is this 0/400 (0/100 ?) standing on its nose and guarded by persons looking like German policemen. Does someone have more information about this incident ?
Thanks for any information, esp. on the Fokker.
Thomas

Sure taken after November 11, 1918. Notice the Breguet Type 14 which is visible behind the wing of the Fokker E.V / D.VIII. The heavy cannibalizing also gives the clue, several markings are taken as trophy. The man standing under the wing (surely the reason of this picture) can be identified by his uniform (or cap). This is something for the uniform specialists, but I would bet it is French.
Cheers
Kees

Greetings Thomas;
The HP is the 0/100. After it was salvaged by the Germans it was nicknamed the Amazon.

Hi gents,
interesting pictures! I especially liked this one
when compared with an earlier post
which I tentativly identified as a DFW B.II. On the new picture the outer struts have less distance than the inner ones, typical for the B.I with the banana wing. But I have never seen one with a wing cutout!
The two guys in front of the fuselage, as Ray Rimmel once said, conveniently obscure the inscription! The first part might be Sch. for Schule (school) and Linsingen is the name of a General.
The handwriting is in the old Sütterlin and all I can make out is cigars!

quite a rare Gotha LD 7 of the "Fliegerschule (Herzog Carl Eduard(!!) Sch... " in Gotha.
