Breguet's Aircraft ID Challenge #480

Here we go again!

I´m right back from my holiday from the frontline and I see some of you made their way further up and also some new names appear in the list. Welcome again and congratulations to all others!

To keep the show running I´ll offer a new task for you, we´re still missing.
Any facts of its history are very welcomed.

What flying boat is this?

Highslide JS

(I hope you will excuse the cut off left wing. It´s the only pic I know and I think it is enough to see of the wings.)

Breguet's Aircraft ID Challenge Records: Aeroplanes 1914 - 1918* -* Breguet's Aircraft Challenge* --

The rules :

The thread title must be "Breguet's aircraft ID challenge #......"
The score board, link and rules must be copied to the beginning and end of each thread so that we know where we are.
The completed aircraft must have been either; designed, built or have left the ground during the '14-'18 period and be identifiable by the poster.
The photo must show the whole aircraft - from whatever angle, or at least 2 views of a 3 view drawing (photo by preference).
Challenges which depict a machine already earlier presented are disqualified
(always check the list at earlyaviator.com/br.challenge when in doubt !)
Once someone has got 5 correct answers under their belt they become an ACE. Once they become an ACE they must wait 12hrs after the posting of the new challenge before they can post an answer.
To be eligible for correct ID an answer must include at least one characteristic of the aircraft that helped in its identification.
The first person to ID the challenge correctly gets to post the next challenge. If this can not be done for any reason Breguet himself will post the next challenge.
If there is any doubt as to the eligibility of an aircraft for the challenge details should be PM'd to Breguet BEFORE the aircraft is submitted.
The final arbitor in relation to questions about the rules will be Breguet.

Have a good hunt!

Hello

It's the DFW-Flugboot the only flying boat built by DFW

one of its caracteristics is the cooler on the front fuselage

The engine,a 100hp,later a 120 hp, Mercedes was put on the fuselage, driving the propeller through a transmission shaft
Only one built in 1914 for experimental purpose .
spann 16.8 ;length10.5 m ;weights :820/1140kg ;max speed 90km/h with the 100hp ,100km/h with the 120 hp .

Yip, you have it Richard!

I don´t like best all the waterplanes, but this DFW design has a truely elegant looking (apart from it´s chain-driven prop mount)

For storage the wing-ends could be flapped down to reduce the span to 12,50m.
And to me it seems strange to place the radiator that far away from the engine. Need a lot of piping doesn´t it?

Some flight characteristics are to find in different sources, but I don´t know what happened to it. All I found is that it “surprisingly was not joinig the Ostseeflug-Wettbewerb at Warnemünde”.

Is somebody able to add something here?

Score and next Challenge up to you Richard!
