Hello

I think it's the SEA 1 built in 1916 (SEA : Société d'Etudes Aéronautiques).
- conventional two bay biplane with negatevely staggered wings.
- rotary engine : (looks like a 200hp Clerget)

The fuselage also fits with the SEA1

The SEA-1 was supposed to be powered by a 200hp Clerget but as the engine wasn't ready it seams that a 130hp Clerget was used.

There is a short video showing it on "a DVD "Les historiques Dassault Aviation"

Perfect Laurent, but it is spelled exactly S.E.A. I. It was the first aeroplane designed and built by Marcel Bloch (after WW2 Marcel Dassault), Henry Potez and Louis Coroller. The machine was built in the Labourdette factory. The designers, Marcel Bloch, Louis Coroller and Henry Potez - wanted to make a replacement for the Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter (but bigger), which was powered by an 11-cylinder Clerget radial of 220 hp. There were troubles with this 11-cylinder Clerget, so a less powerful 9-cylinder Clerget was used.

As the machine was underpowered, it quickly passed away into history. Amazing that a small movie exists of this rare plane.

I decided to enter this view of the S.E.A. I as it is without doubt the most difficult to recognize.

Thanks for the classy scans of the pictures, which are all in the article of Coroller in Avions No. 61.
