Breguet's Aircraft ID Challenge #500
 By my calculations  I think we must have reached our 5th century  What a  !To all my  from your  a hearty well done on your magnificent efforts!! A truly Royal nod to you all as I choke back a tear of gratitude.But as we celebrate my 50th with our 500th victory we must not grow complacent - there is work to be done as we approach this most difficult target. Remember, as we enter the second half of this millenium, that for this challenge ACES have no time restrictions (though the other rules still apply). Now some facts. There are sixteen points on offer but one will be taken off for every additional piece posted. Each of the sixteen posts consists of a right-angle triangle of identical size. They will be posted in no particular order and not necessarily in the correct orientation. Four of the pieces contain nothing of the aircraft (only sky, trees, environment etc) they will be posted as doubles with an aircraft piece. The picture contains 3 different views of the aircraft (one of it actually in the air). So my friends it begins! Once they become an ACE they must wait 12hrs after the posting of the new challenge before they can post an answer. •To be eligible for correct ID an answer must include at least one characteristic of the aircraft that helped in its identification. •The first person to ID the challenge correctly gets to post the next challenge. If this can not be done for any reason Breguet himself will post the next challenge. •If an ace gives the correct answer too early, the challenge is over, he gets no point but has to post the next one. In lieu of the fact that the "novices" have in effect been "cheated" of their "exclusive" time that next post should be a relatively easy one. Anyone repeating the correct answer at the right time gets neither a point nor the right to post the next challenge. •The final arbitor in relation to questions about the rules will be Breguet. |
