Rbailey, you are surely right about the Raison Monoplane.
I read everywhere of two Bleriot aircraft and finally found they were
built by Alfred Louis Raison.

And with the 1914-flying thing - this is a little disputable.
At least there is no evidence it not flew again.
The Flight magazine (that also names the Paterson biplane the first S-A built) quotes in the 1914 article "Paterson recently made a 120 miles cross-country flight with it" and the flying school was closed in January,
probably not on January 1st 1914.
If I remember right, he and the students
went to England somewhen in March or May.

Otherwise I have to ask for leniency but I wouldn´t miss Africa in the challenge.

Cheers

Always good to get a new nationality. Does that make 26? it would be interesting to have a list. Also,to see who has posted the most different ones.

I collected a list of all coutries that now includes all continents with the exception of Antarktica.

[That´s 495 in all - 10 invalid or repeated offers.

A-H - Austria-Hungary (no ISO-code);
SAU - South African Union (wasn´t a republic then)]

Actually there were more coutries involved. I only counted where the designs were built or at least flown.

For example the Wong Biplane, built in the UK by a Malayan but later flown in Malaysia.
Or Sanchez-Besa - orginated in France but also built and flown in Chile.
The Avro Burga is no peruvian design in my eyes, as it hasen´t been there after all. And I don´t know any more if I counted the MFP Biplane a canadian or US design.

I also counted existing states only.
The Bloudek-Čermak is credited to Austria-Hungary as the Czech Republic or even the CSSR wasn´t established yet. So does all the aviation of Odessa and Kiew belonged to Russia and not Ukraine.

To count who posted the most different or got how many answers doesn´t make much sense to me. There are only few who were able to offer a big variety of challenges. By estimation I would say Kees was in charge for not less than 150 of them. While others permanently refuse to take over the host.
But if it makes you happy I believe you´re leading in the country variety.

Cheers
