The designer's first machine was a Bleriot, and perhaps that may have influenced his choice of the monoplane layout for his designs (he had more than one), but this is no Bleriot. By the way, I believe he is the one in the coveralls in the last picture.

Actually this looks an awful lot like one that has already been posted... cowl is different, but... does this one still exist in a museum? Built in the US? Built from Morane parts? If so, I know it has been posted, it is the only challenge I've ever won. lol
