Daimler 160 hp engine

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if there are any scale drawings or pictures of this engine? It powered the Hansa-Brandenburg C.I among many others.

Hi Mark,

there are a few pics in the history gallery on the website of Austro Daimler.

just click on "Flugzeuge"

[sorry, it even appears much smaller than seen]

I believe this one shows the 160 hp aero engine.
Actually the enlargement tool doesn't work, but you may ask the people of the association. I think they could help you with further information.

There is also a walkaround of the 150 hp Austro-Daimler at the Vienna Technical Museum :
Austro Daimler 150HP aviation engine at Idflieg - World War I Aircraft - Museum Walkarounds.

Cheers

Aquilius
