Or Series 153?
253?
353?
453?

It still has the flat sided fuselage side!

Your posts are coming in now like a heavy attac!

My caption says "Oeffag Albatros D.II" but the interplane struts say it's
an Oeffag D.III!
I'm sorry I don't have a serial or the pilot involved in this incident.

Joachim had it right, but I will give 0.3 points of the score to Catfish.
He was first to mention the Albatros layout and I like to encourage other fellows to take part, while there few of the "Aces" always try to stump each other with subtype developements...
(this includes me )

Congratulations to both of you!
Joachim, if you are preparing your home fro Christmas, I think you can leave a little space free for your "Pour le Bréguet - award" that you may earn soon.
In the meanwhile (when you are thinking were to place it) you may offer a new challenge to us.

Thanks for taking part everyone and good luck for the next one.

Cheers

I vote for the V.

Please, which of the types had the control cable to the ailerons NOT laid in the lower wing anymore ? DV or DVa ?

Greetings,
Catfish

lol the impacts are getting closer ..
The radiator on the picture looks moved sideways (to the right), so it may well be a V.

I just looked at a fotograf of one Albatros D.III and one of an Albatros D.V, they both showed two aileron actuator cables, a pull and a return, aft of the rear "V" strut.

What ever are you two talking about?
I don't get it!

FOKKERJ

look here to see a D.V with the triangular shrouds and no cables from the lower wing.

"Schnucki" is old fashioned for "darling"

Aquilius
you gave 1.2 total for this one?

I see some crazy stuff sometimes!

Congratulations Flamingo, I hear that your B.le M. is in the mail!

NEVER MIND! I saw the adjustment!
24.90 Flamingo

Perhaps someday!

Also to Catfish for his dogged determination to crawl up the "ACE" Ladder.

Aquilius,

VIELEN DANK, for an entertaining and also very educational challenge!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, FOKKERJ
