What a cool looking bird!
Take a look at this Macchi M.5!I like it how the guns poke out of the eyes
 Anybody know the identity of it?

Flying Dragon
Hello,
This is Flying Dragon tenente di vascello Domenico "Pepuzzo" Arcidiacono - an Italian pilot. See Windsock Datafile No 86. FLY - a new manufacturer of plastic kits issued a maquette of Macchi M.5 in quarter scale, last year. Sadly, they totally spoilt this painting scheme giving an incorrect inscription. Dear friends,
the barely visible writing on the hull says: "I casi sono due" ("there are two cases"). The plane belonged to 261Ş Squadriglia Caccia of Venice. There are some picture of the same plane in the IWM collection. All the best Paolo |
