THE RULES
1. All aircraft are of the 14-18 period (Must have left the ground during this period).
2. The score board, link and rules must be copied to the beginning of each thread, so that we know where we are. The score board and the correct answer to the challenge must also be placed at end of each thread.
3.All "ACES" with a score of 5.0 or higher must obey the 3.0 hour handicap. All others with a score of ZERO to 4.99 may start immediately, if not sooner! Offenders will be dealt with severely!
4. To be eligible for correct ID an answer must include at least one characteristic of the aircraft that helped in its identification.
5. And whom ever wins this challenge will have to provide a new one! If this can not be done for any reason, please PM Breguet and he will take over as host!
6. If an ace gives the correct answer too early, the challenge is over, he gets no point but has to post the next challenge. In lieu of the fact that the "novices" have in effect been "cheated" of their "exclusive" time that next post should be a relatively easy one. Anyone repeating the correct answer at the right time gets neither a point nor the right to post the next challenge.
7. The final arbitrator of all things to do with the "rules" is Breguet

REMEMBER: "IF YOU CAN'T RUN WITH THE BIG DOGS.... STAY ON THE PORCH!"

Oh ya, and have fun!

TOP FIVE REASONS THIS PICTURE MIGHT BE PIECED TOGETHER!

Nr.V It wouldn't fit in my Console Screen!

Nr.IV It looked like a "Stretch Limousine" without the Hot Tub!

Nr.III I like Puzzle Peices!

Nr.II The original fotograf met with a Horrible Accident!

And the Nr.I Reason that this picture might be pieced together is....

My assistant "EDWARD SCISSORHANDS" is on a Rampage!

That's why!

HAPPY TRAILS AND GOOD HUNTING, FOKKERJ

Well, me thinks you are messing with us !

Anyway, I noticed your rather artistic little squirley-cues all around the rudder, rendering it totally useless for ID purposes - nice touch. But, I have placed both pics in proper alignment and am looking for a match.

Yes, I know I have to wait awhile longer...

Consider yerself messed!

First I split the image to lose the S/N, then I discovered how to effectively remove such nuisances with the "Swirly" technique.... After I had already tossed the original untouched image! Flamingo brought to my attention a long time ago that people could easily trace back to my Image Host and see my properly ID'd and intact fotos revealing everything one might need to get a mega-hint as to the correct answer.
Now they are tossed immediately after I get what I need. I still have to go to extraordinary measures to upload a new image since I lost some of my computer capabilities. Breguet has corrected me in the past for leaving revealing S/N's on the fotos. Also he didn't care much for my PETER MAX stylings while obscurring a Morane-Saulnier P or what ever it was! It looked like a "Bad Trip"!
Don't make me look!

OK, I looked....It was a "P"!

AROTH, Good job and Keep looking. This one might be a fun study!

Posting at 9:04 pm. Now 12:11am here.

OK, I am going to bed soon so I will start this with a most likely incorrect answer based upon reading and researching for the past 3 hours when I could have been playing "Over Flanders Fields" and getting my sorry butt shot down over and over and over......bit, I love that sim!

Anyway,

Hansa-Brandenburg NW.

Because it is the only one I can see so far that has that distinct little handgrip near the tail and the external control cables going up to the cockpit area and cockpit layouts.

However, since the serial numbers assigned to those A/C do not appear to match up with what I think I see on the, ahem, photos, and the rudder has been covered with swirly clouds..........

This The End!

Congratulations & One Full Point goes to AROTH for choosing his time wisely and spending
three hours of his life here (That he will never get back!) to search for the correct ID of
this crashed machine. He does now know what a Brandenburg NW looks like and shouldn't have one
pull up along side of him in his sims with out being aware of "Friend or Foe"!
