Although this is in danger of becoming a guessing came some of the already mentioned characteristics do fit so how about a FVM S 18 ?

Thanks Fokker J ,we know the crash occured in Sweden .
I can say that the plane ,although used by the swedish forces is not a swedish design .

It could be possibly an AVRO 504, the tail support and outline are close.

It's an Avro 504 K Mk II:in Sweden Sk3 ,precisely here the Nr 075 of the flygskolakaren Ljungbyhed near Malmö.

Accidental "meeting" on the 28 february 1928 at Ljungbyhed between an Albatros and this Sk3 .

I saw the AVRO 504K resemblence and worse saw one in Swedish markings!
