charles Forum Ace Join Date: Aug 2001 Posts: 562	Halberstadt Gas Cap ID This brass cap with broken thumbscrew (see left side of image) and oily-paperlike seal supposedly is from a C-type aircraft, possibly a Halberstadt, shot down in June, 1918. This is not part of The Aero Conservancy Collection. I'm trying to help with figuring what aircraft it might have come from. __________________ Charles Gosse THE AERO CONSERVANCY
